01 / Launch
How $PIE started
Pons V2 minted the full token supply to its bonding curve. Pie Markets did not receive a free team premint.
If the curve graduates, Pons creates a Uniswap v4 pool and permanently locks its liquidity. The supply reserved for that pool is not a Pie Markets treasury allocation. Read the Pons V2 mechanics.
02 / Creator fees
How fees may be used
Pons pays creator fee proceeds in the token's pair asset, ETH. These proceeds may support manual $PIE buybacks and burns, as well as product and operating costs. There is no fixed allocation or buyback schedule.
Each buyback and burn requires its own onchain transaction; neither happens automatically. If we perform them, we will publish both transaction links and count tokens as burned only after confirmation. Buybacks depend on fees received, transaction costs, and available liquidity.
The Pons token page shows the launch's fee settings.
